But I can review a return prepared by a CPA just about as quickly as I can one prepared by HRB, or JH. There is a difference between eyeballing a return quickly and "reviewing" it. Particularly if someone is coming off the street for just a review. Of course if you want to be competing against the people with the initials and the lottery scratch tickets, that's your call. ![]() -- David M. I will willingly look over a return prepared by another for free; unless of course it is really, REALLY complex and there are unresolved or debateable issues. Most all returns take only minutes of my time and good public relations. "review" a client prepared return. This is because I cannot trust any of the input or calculations and I end up having to actually do the return on my system, then I compare it to the client prepared return - it takes twice as long as doing it myself and can take longer if I hit a "difference" that isn't apparent. | I am a very small S Corp and just want a CPA to look over my taxes. I did what I think is a good job of filling everything out but want a professional to look it over. If you have time (Sorry if that was funny), shoot me an email and we'll talk about your fee.
