It survived encounters with three different deers and after
repairs was still operable. My son's car on the other hand
was totaled after one deer encounter.

I can't see why you responded to Jack's post. He was
quoting an announcement by IRS, said nothing about hard copy
, or driving.

OR: were you responding to my comment about ACK forms?
The only ACK form is that printed out on my computer which
comes from IRS service center, and it is for my files only.

Some of my clients come by means of '78 Volvos. They are
deer proof. And if others wish to drive a Hummer it is none
of your business.

What's this? ACK forms are mailed to clients? By whom,
IRS? Not by me.

Default IRS Sends You an Individual e-file Thank You

Individual e-file Thank You

Thank You Congratulations Gracias

Congratulations? more than forty two million individual
e-file income tax returns have been successfully filed. We
are pleased to announce that approximately eighty percent of
these returns were signed by taxpayers using an electronic
signature. We thank you for your participation and encourage
you to continue to e-file client returns using taxpayer
Personal Identification Numbers, PINs, whenever possible.

If you have not been e-filing returns with taxpayer PIN
signatures, please consider doing so. Join those tax
professionals who are already experiencing the benefits from
using an electronic signature method. Remember, that a Form
8453, U.S. Individual Income Tax Declaration for an IRS
e-file Return, is not required if the taxpayer PINs were
accepted by IRS. Be sure to check the Acknowledgment File or
other documentation received to confirm that the taxpayer
PINs were accepted.

Visit the irs.gov website for e-file tax professionals to
obtain information on filing returns using electronic
taxpayer signatures.
