And instead of using a form 8829. you use the worksheet provided IN that publication, which of course as you see, tells you where to put taxes and interest. the worksheet is merely for use in determining IF there are claimable expenses. Then the Real Estate Taxes and Mortgage Interest is broken out and shown in full on Line 6 and Line 10 of Schedule A where they would normally go. The balance goes to Miscellaneous Expenses.
