asktax.org and asktax.com both point to misc.taxes.moderated.
And that website needs work as only the Charter is online.

I have been seriously trying since 1991 to take a two week
vacation to Australia to look for an academic position. I
have even beaten the hell out of some Aussies at Backgammon
to get places to stay for free while there. I have had SIX
surgeries since I retired in June of 2003. There is no way
to hide that from the immigration doctors. So I shall NOT
get to be "The Oracle of OZ". My only regret is that I have
the frequent flyer miles for the round trip tickets.

Well if I can't move to OZ, it is best that I return to
where God rested on the seventh day - The Promised Land of
North Carolina. In North Carolina, Heaven is a local call.
In Chapel Hill, God is on the intercom.

Hope to be there by August so I can enter one of my Meads in
the State Fair.
