Assuming you are not a US national, a resident of either
Canada, Mexico, Japan or the ROK, you can not claim
dependent exemptions on a nonresident alien tax return. No
exemption, no CTC.

Default Non resident Alien with US born kid

I stayed in US for only 11 days in 2004 and hence my
status will be Non-resident alien. I have a US born
kid who was present in US for 11 days with me. I want
to check if I am eligible for Child Tax Credit. Also
I stayed in kentucky for those 11 days. Under what
status I should file taxes for kentucky.

Please advise. Thanks a lot for your help.
