Although I believe that, in SOME cases, we should give
tax program advice, this one is clear: Ask in in a TaxAct
support forum.

In the Miscellaneous Itemized Deductions of Schedule A
TaxAct should allow you to enter home office expenses. If
it does not allow that, get a new tax preparation program.

Look for the "business use of home" worksheet that links off
of Form 2106.

May I suggest that you post TaxACT related questions to the
following forum:

Default TaxAct - How do I enter telecommuting/home office expenses?

I use TaxAct and this past year I became a home-based
employee. The only way that I can find to enter home office
expenses in TaxAct is to enter a new business - but I'm not
self-employeed so this isn't what I need to do. HELP!

Thanks,
D
