Before the answer to your question, one thing raises an
eyebrow, in that you said your husband "reported no income"
(last year).

Does that mean he HAD no income, or actually decided not to
report any income?

If the former, then y'all should amend your return. If the
latter, IRS will figure the correct refund and make the
check payable to you. After a couple of months, of course.

Default Question on form 8379?

My husband has an offset for student loans. He reported no
income at all for 2004. We filed MFJ with the form 8379, I
wanted to know since he reported no income should I receive
my whole refund or not?
