Further followup: Does AZ have an LLC tax, as CA does? If
so, you owe AZ tax at the LLC level.

Assuming the LLC is a disregarded entity for Federal
purposes, it probably is for AZ purposes, and hence moving
the property to the LLC has no tax effect.

However, I recommend filing the AZ 140NR form, even if the
rental property shows a loss, so that the state will not
come after you for non-filing. It's not too much work to
fill out a paper return even if you E-file your Federal
return.

Well for starters, Nevada doesn't have an income tax.
Having said that, being that it is located in AZ, unless
there is some AZ law stating otherwise, it is taxable in AZ.

Default Live in Nevada but have an LLC in Arizona

I was hoping one of the many experts on this forum could
help me with this one:

I lived in Arizona and bought a condo there. I set up an
LLC in Maricopa county and "quick deeded" the condo into the
LLC. I rent the condo right now but I recently moved to
Nevada. I was wondering if I the income from that property
will be subjected to Arizona state income tax (and federal
tax, obviously) or will it be subjected to Nevada state
income tax? I would really appreciate help with this.

Thanks,
Dan
