Manual updates for TurboTax for Windows are at the following
link.

You will get better answers to TurboTax technical problems
in the forums on the TurboTax support site. Here is a link

May I respectfully suggest that you (and other tax software
users) post such inquiries to the following applicable
groups (where you will receive much faster response than
here):

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TaxACTors/

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hrbTaxCut/

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TurboTax/

You might want to ask over in
alt.comp.software.financial.quicken

Since our moderator is going to be out of commission for a
couple of days, I was going to send you this response by
e-mail, but could not find a valid address - not even in
your sig.

Default TurboTax 2004 manual update--how?

My computer crashes when running TurboTax Update Manager.
It is a very slow (200MHz) computer running Windows 98SE
with plenty of disk space. When I go to turbotax.com and
click on the Support button, I get an error. I tried this
support button on another computer with the same result.
Two weeks ago, I was able to do the One-Click Update, but it
does not work anymore and Intuits support is not reachable.
Can anyone give me a method to update manually? I searched
"manual update" on the TurboTax website with "not found."
Any ideas? I'm beginning to think TaxCut is better. TIA
