Enter a sell of the appropriate number of shares on schedule
D. List $75 as the sales price in column d.

Usually CIL is for a fractional share. Yet STA never got
that high that $75 would be for less than a share. Oh, well.

On Schedule D. This sounds like the result of some sort of
merger, in which case you need to look to the paperwork they
gave you to find out the tax treatment. If you can't find
the paperwork, try Investor Relations at the surviving
company. If it's not from a merger, give those of us
without psychic abilities a little help and tell us what
happened that resulted in this payment.
