Line 32. It's an adjustment to the foreign tax credit for
AMT purposes. If you have a low enough foreign tax credit to
use the simplified election, you use the simplified approach
here, too.

If a REIT (in this case EQR) states "If you are subject to
the Federal Alternative Tax, the AMTI adjustments
approtioned to shareholders inder IRC 59(d) for tax year
2004 is 11 cents per share.", which line of 6251 would this
go on? And is it an adjsutment to income or timing?

I'm afraid this is a dumb question but I do, actually, sort
of understand AMT, it just isn't clear to me how this fits
in.
