Your best bet would be to ask the WA Department of Revenue.> that I purchased out of Washington state without paying > sales tax for them, but what about things like domain names, > or calling cards. They are not tangible, these are more like > services. We have a sales tax in Washington state. The two items you mentioned are probably "gray" items and I wouldn't venture a guess without additional research. | I have an S-Corp. I wonder, do I need to pay a Use Tax on annual domain names registration and on calling cards/phone cards? They were purchased online in a different state than Washington, and no tax was charged for them. I am will be paying the Use Tax on all the computer hardware that I purchased out of Washington state without paying sales tax for them, but what about things like domain names, or calling cards. They are not tangible, these are more like services. We have a sales tax in Washington state. Thank you for your help. << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
