I ran into the same situation. While holding on the phone I
decided after 1/2 hour to try their Web chat help feature.
Got the required code in less than one minute online.

I had a similar problem with FAM, no access code. I
actually went to myproseries.com and logged in for online
tech support. I got someone within a minute or two and he
gave me the code I needed.

I am currently on hold for tech support for another issue
and am getting frustrated. Been on hold now for about 15
minutes. I'll post back later with the results of this!

If you are talking about Intuit's ProSeries software, you
don't need an "unlock code" to use it. When asked, just
enter your customer number and ZIP code into the program.
Those are found on the packing slip.

Default Proseries Tech Support

I know a lot of us use Proseries. Did they outsource tech
support to "Ask If I Give A Hoot, Inc."?

Here are the results of my inquiry to get an unlock code for
FAM that should have been on the packing slip, but was not.
1. Phone call on hold 1 hour and I raised the white flag
and gave up.
2. Email answered within a day and told to call tech
support at 1-800-ha-ha.

What's the best way you have found to get support this
season?
