When all else fails, read em the part in publication 17 which says "you" must be reponsible for the tax and "you" must pay it. Then ask to see their checks to the local municipality. | I was reading a local message board today and someone posted that the taxes your local municipality assesses through cell phone service or landline service for 911 service is a tax deductible item. Anyone else familiar with this? I've been doing taxes since 1995 and this is a new one for me. Since it was a local message board, I have this very unsettling feeling that we will be getting a lot of questions from clients about it. We know that many of them read, and post, to this local message board. Carol It's a cats world.
