Yes. If you are an employee, deduct it using Formn 2106 as
an employee business expense. If you are an independent
contractor, deduct it on Form 4562 attached to Schedule C.
In both cases, if you use the laptop partially for personal
purposes, you need to reduce the deduction accordingly.

If used SOLELY for business, yes. It is a LISTED ASSET so be
sure and check on the limits (under 280f I think) for
deducibility and understand it is a 2106 employee business
expense that flows to Sch A which means you need to already
have enough other deductions to exceed the standard
deduction for it to do you any good.
