You can't. SEPs aren't contributory plans like 401(k)s.
Only your employer can fund it.

One has nothing to do with the other.

Default SEP-IRA and Roth IRA contributions conflict?

I'm currently maxing out my Roth IRA each year.

My employer (finally) is offering a plan in the form of an
SEP-IRA (often used by smaller businesses in place of
401k/403b plans). I'd like to contribute a modest amount of
my pay to this plan.

I realize there is no conflict in funding a 401k/403b and a
Roth IRA (even if you are fully funding both), but I'm not
sure about an SEP-IRA. Speaking for 2005, will
contributions to my SEP-IRA have any impact on the amount I
can contribute to my Roth?

Thanks folks!
