You must keep the IRAs separate from the 401K. This means
that at a minimum you would have to have at least two
distributions (one from the pension and one from an IRA
account).

You must take your minimum distribution from each. One
cannot cover the other.

Default IRA and 401k at 70.5

I am 70.5 in 2005 and have both IRA(s) and a 401k. Do I have
to take the money from both an IRA and the 401k or can I
just total the IRA's and the 401k, and take the minimum
distribution (based on the total) from one IRA or the 401k?
