For ALL of us, it will be a rather "taxing" year, that's for
sure. Was thinking about it earlier, and want to thank you
for all you do, keeping this group going and posting
messages. We ALL appreciate it.

And next time I'm up that way, I want to take you and ....
and.... your wife, to eat at Haussners. Okay?

Happy New ChEAr$,

Great news!

And I'm glad to hear the surgery was relatively minor and
went well. Have a very quick and total recovery.

And a very happy new year.

A Purple Heart and a Silver Star for bravery for you. No
Medal of Freedom, as you don't deserve to be in the
questionable company of recent recipients. <g

Glad to hear you survived.

Your moderating in 2004 and the past, has helped make good
years for all of us. Note I didn't say "moderation." <G
Best wishes to you for 2005.

Bill

Shoot! I was hoping you had extra pills. I broke my thumb
last week while working 'down on the farm' *that'll learn
me*. Swollen and sore as can be. Try tying your shoes
without using your thumb. Loafers for me for a while.

Same to you and everyone else.

Oh, good. That should heal pretty quickly (depending on
what you want to do: after my shoulder surgery, it was about
a month before I was lifting weights with that arm again,
and about 9 months before it was back to full strength; but
only about a week before I could use it to eat and drink
with.)

The pain ended after a few days.

We're glad to see it.

You _do_ have to do the physical therapy your doctor tells
you to. Overdoing it is much better than underdoing it.

I hope so.

Great surgery. No tear in my rotator cuff. Just cleaning
out tendonitis. Some decent pain medication, but never
enough.

Very difficult to post this morning. I know I don't have to
do it. I am choosing to do it.

2005 is going to be a great year for me. I hope it is a
great year for you!
