Only if you, like W.C. Fields, like children only if they
are properly cooked.

I also saw it in other groups too. It wasn't just here.

You didn't miss anything valuable, Carol. Stick with the
canned food and the furballs, they won't betray you. They
are good masters and readily show their appreciation (even
if a little naggy at times). Nothing like a 15-pound Siamese
crawling into bed with you on a cold night, and purring you
to sleep!

Yes, Helen, I must have received about 20 or more of such
nonsense (for lack of a better word) posts.

Does anyone know if the original posts were altered by the
hacker? Just wondering.

Glad I wasn't the only one that read such trash!

Yeah, but were they "good" recipes?

I didn't see any posts with recipes. At all. In fact,
there haven't been any posts until late yesterday since
about Friday of last week.

I do have a LOT of filters on my newsgroup setting, though.
Sometimes even real, honest-to-gosh posts don't make it

Yep. I believe our group was hacked and cracked by a troll,
who picked at least one of almost every regular posters ...
and counterfeited a fictitious recipe under their name.

Default Am I losing it?

Did anyone else see posts with recipes in it this morning
(Tuesday) even tho the headers and posters were real? It
was like someone got into the posts and changed them. Some
of the recipes were extremely ...well... extreme.
