When I attempted to go to www.asktax.org, I received the
error that my connection was refused (whatever that means).

Unless you are an auditor and the person complaining is your
client and he's talking about you. ;-))

Congratulations on a successful surgery. I just hope this
doesn't mean you'll be out playing polo instead of
moderating the group.

Good luck with your back, the insurance company and the
upcoming year.

And I did lose about 600 pounds, all because my credit card
insurance company rejected my claim for damage to a car in
the UK. Oh well, live and learn. or is it live and earn?

I'll send my good wishes anyway. After all, I certainly
wouldn't want anything to interfere with your moderation of
MTM.

Good to hear that progress is being made.

Love causes your body to spew out endorphins, which are
fabulous for you in so many ways. Between that and hot
chocolate, that may be the only fitness schedule you'll
need.

As long as you don't lump lawyers as a group into he
category of other trans (99% give the rest of us a bad
name), same to you and yours.

Well, Dick, on Friday, 10 December 2004, I had unexpected
surgery on my left shoulder--since I broke it in a freak
accident the day before. I figure since you didn't have
your back surgery that day as scheduled, I must have been
chosen as your replacement for that day's required m.t.m.
sacrifice to the orthopaedic volcano gods.

Lots of pain for weeks (no drugs work; one even gave me
night terrors on top of everything else), major immobility,
and several months of therapy are in the offing for a partial
recovery.

Back atcha, dude.

My surgery went very, very well. After they got in there
with a scope and looked around, they decided the minimum
was necessary. Now I have to go after the insurance co.
for the surgery on my back.

BTW: Bone pain is the worst pain. Percaset works. 10mg is
better than 5mg. The failure to complain about pain is
outright #^():[at]* stupid.

Default MODERATOR: Surgery Thursday

On Thursday, 30 December 2004 (as they write it in Europe),
I'm having surgery on my right shoulder. This is not major
surgery and no drastic consequences are expected.

All I will need after this is the back surgery which is very
simple and has a fast recovery period.

As of Monday I have lost 40 pounds this year (and it was not
in a Casino in London), my blood pressure was 110/70, my bad
cholesterol is low, and my good cholesterol is high. This
angers Susan who has always watched her weight and exercises
daily. She said "How the hell do you get away with this?"
My response was "Terrific genes and being in love with you."
The latter almost always causes a change of subject.

I am hoping for 2005 to be a great year and hope it is a
great year for each and every person who reads this except
for terrorists, tax portestors, and other trash.
