I'm getting the overlap too. I usually read the messages in
digest form and then go into the group to send replies. This
saves me a lot of time. I am on AOL and have little choice
of browser. Like Ford they have their own that will not work
with anything else. Linda Dorfmont E.A., CFP, CSA

Are you using Internet Explorer? Try changing the text size.
On the View menu select Text Size, then select a smaller
size than what is currently selected. I normally keep mine
set to Smaller and I don't have the problem. If I set it to
Larger then I see what you are seeing.

You can also send feedback to Google at the following link.

No.

Not that I can find.

You can try using a newsreader to access the newsgroup
directly on a news server instead of through Google Groups.
One of the most popular newsreaders is Agent. That's what I
use and I am very happy with it. Another popular one is
Xnews. You can also use Outlook Express as a newsreader.
Your ISP probably provides a news server. You can find out
the name of it on their web site or by calling support.

Here are links for Agent and Xnews.

Not exactly. The website is still the same. Your
access through Google Groups become Google Groups Beta.

No. Complain to Google.

It's been said the google.co.in is still using the old
format. But I haven't verified it, and it probably
won't last.

If your ISP has a Usenet feed, or you sign up with a free
Usenet server, you can read the group with Outlook Express
or Netscape, among other browsers.

Default Website format problem - Moderator???

A couple of weeks ago this website became Google Groups
Beta. Now when I read the postings at the website the first
post in any thread has the sponsers groups stuff normally on
the right placed on top of the text for the first post. Am
I the only one seeing this? Is there a way to visit the
misc.taxes.moderated in the old non-beta mode? Is there
another way to visit besides the usernet group?
