It seems to me that you don't actually have any tax
attributes affected by this. There is a credit for refund
of previous year's AMT, but that only applies to AMT caused
by timing differences, not for items excluded from AMT
consideration, such as property taxes.

Default Ammended return?

For my 2003 return, I understated (missplaced a check) my
property tax. I just ran the correct number through Turbotax
and my AMT would rise to offset any extra property tax I'd
claim, so no greater refund. Do I need to send in an
ammended return?

I see AMT appearing on the "Federal Carryover Worksheet"
does that imply a credit if my situation changes next year?

I appreciate any advice here.

JOE
