Although I can't chime in on Inland Revenue rules, even
though having visited the UK on numerous annual occasions,
particularly to ride the railroads, sample the music and
inspect numerous distilleries, I will agree with our
esteemed moderator and second his notion about we Americans
and the British are a common people separated by an uncommon
language. Or something like that.

Default taxes in england

Dear friends,
I've just bought a flat in london, but I am european citizen,
not british. I don't live in britain. I'd like to know what
taxes I must pay in england. I know about a local tax
(council tax) but, as i will rent the flat, I think I will
pay taxes on the rent income.

Anyone could give me some information?

Best regards
Claudio Scarpa
