I expect to see TaxCut and TurboTax on store shelves inearly December, in plenty of time for customers to purchase copies as Christmas gifts. However, with all the late-in-the-year tax law changes I'm sure there will be lots of updates to download before it's possible to prepare and file tax returns with the software. According to the TaxCut web site, some Federal products willbe available for download Nov. 26, and others Dec. 4. Federal CDs will ship in December. Some states will be available in December, and all states by February. Here's the link to the information. Put this all on one line if it gets wrapped in the newsgroup. http://answer.taxcut.com/index.cfm?s...234882832.html Bob Sandler << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |

I can come up with two quick rejoinders, but I'mnot sure the Moderator will accept them: 1. Why not ask THEM? 2. Sometime after the tax forms and E-file formats are published. << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
