I expect to see TaxCut and TurboTax on store shelves in
early December, in plenty of time for customers to purchase
copies as Christmas gifts. However, with all the
late-in-the-year tax law changes I'm sure there will be lots
of updates to download before it's possible to prepare and
file tax returns with the software.

According to the TaxCut web site, some Federal products will
be available for download Nov. 26, and others Dec. 4.
Federal CDs will ship in December. Some states will be
available in December, and all states by February.

Here's the link to the information. Put this all on one line
if it gets wrapped in the newsgroup.

I can come up with two quick rejoinders, but I'm
not sure the Moderator will accept them:

1. Why not ask THEM?
2. Sometime after the tax forms and E-file formats are
published.
