They'd better be draft since last weeks' new tax law changes
at least two lines on the 1040A. Possibly other changes too.

What is the rush?

The reason the Draft thing is there is because the form has
not been finalized. In fact, some of them do nbot get
finalized before Feb or March during filing season.

I guess you will have to use the 2003 forms.

Use White-Out (tm) or some other commercial white stuff to
do the job, carefully.

then photocopy the resulting form with slightly darker than
average setting.

Save the form to your hard drive and open with the full
version of Acrobat (I can do it with version 5; you may need
Pro in version 6). Select the Touchup Text Tool (looks like
a big hollow T). Click on the Draft watermark, then hit
delete until it's gone. Repeat as needed.

I just tried it, and it worked for me. You don't even need
to save the edited file under a new name.

Default Access to 2004 Tax Forms?

Does anyone know if there's a way to get access to the IRS
draft 2004 forms, without the "draft" mark across the front,
prior to the release date? I realize that would defeat the
purpose but the new edition of my book is going to press in
a week and the publisher is insisting on either leaving
forms out or using the 2003 version if we can't get the 2004
version without the "draft" stamp.
