(grin Here's yet another reason to get rid of that da*ned Internet Explorer/ Outlook Express in favor of a news client more sensible, like Mozilla or Thunderbird, which gives one the option like OP was looking for, of selecting top or bottom posting. Look for an add-on called "oe-quotefix". I don't use Outlook, so I can't tell you how to have the> locate where I can change the formatting so that my response > comes after the message to which I am responding. > Do you know where I can change the formatting? curser placed automatically at the end. But I have my program set to place the curser at the top. I just move the curser to where I want it before I start my response. It's as simple as that. It never occurred to me to look for such a thing. Tools | Options ! Send check "Include message in reply"> locate where I can change the formatting so that my response > comes after the message to which I am responding. > Do you know where I can change the formatting? Then edit and scroll down before you start typing. (Default is cursor at top of message). Also consider using OE-Quotefix which will reformat the original message so that the added "> " at the beginning of each line will not cause the line to be too long and give a ragged appearance to the reply. | ================================================== Moderator: Will someone answer this poster's question ================================================== I have looked everywhere in Outlook Express and cannot locate where I can change the formatting so that my response comes after the message to which I am responding. Do you know where I can change the formatting?
