The OP was just looking to having a question answered, not
seeking to employ a tax pro.

But maybe he'll get lucky. (Heck, Maybe even "I" will get
"lucky" some day! (grin)

This is something I can help with, but it would take too
much time without compensation.

Default nol worksheets

Does anyone have a formula or worksheet for figuring NOL and
how to apply. Here's my problem,

tax returns were filed accordingly:

96 - line 30 of 1120 (3524)- book loss was [Sch M1] (5434)
with 250, contributions, 271 meals & 1389 life ins. prem
line 10 -3524) . (line 8 of Sch M2) -5434

97 - line 30 of 1120 (46,239) - book loss was [Sch M1]
-47,425 with 2294 meals & 2416 life ins prem. line 10
-42,715) line 28 -42,715, line 29a -3524)(line 8 of Sch
M2)-52859

98 - line 30 of 1120 (18650) - book loss was [Sch M1]
(18,650) lines 28 & 30 was -18,650.(line 8 of Sch M2) -71509

99 - line 30 of 1120 was 0 - book income was [Sch M1]
11,871, contributions carryover was 439, meals 513, total on
line 10 was 12823, (line 8 of Sch M2) -58686

2000 - line 30 of 1120 was 0 - book income was [Sch M1] 996,
contributions carryover was 1378, meals 1476, total on line
10 was 996, (line 8 of Sch M2) -57690

2001 - line 30 of 1120 was -9108 - book income was [Sch M1]
-9108, contributions carryover was 3962, meals 2151, total
on line 10 was -9108, (line 8 of Sch M2) -66798

Have not filed 2002 or 2003 tax returns.

Here's where my problem starts

2002 line 30 of 1120 was 0 - book income was [Sch M1] 19256,
contributions carryover was 5674, meals 1189 deprection
17,040, total on line 10 was 9079, (line 8 of Sch M2)
shouldn't it be -47542

I keep showing a positive and I know it should be a lost,
but I can't made it come out right in Turbo Tax. Can anyone
help?
