Look at Lexmark & Okidata.

Actually the 4200 doesn't have a built in duplexer--unless
it has changed since I bought one about a year and a half
ago. It did have the duplexer available as an add-on, but I
didn't buy it. It is a great printer and I have been quite
happy with it.

HP 4200 I believe is a top notch printer for this
profession. I believe it has a built in duplexer. Older HP
40xx models have a duplexer available as an add-on.

Just bought a Cannon D 761, about $500, Laser combo printer
and copy mc to replace my HP 4+ . That I was delighted with.
It does not do duplex but otherwise is a nice machine. The
paper input holds a full ream so less time is devoted to
feeding the monster. I ran away from the current HPs because
they seem to make the paper trays very flimsy, must have
save a buck. Toner is a bit pricey. and When you run out
you are OUT! You have to have a spare on hand

Default printer recommendation

I'm thinking of giving up my HP 4+ although my repair person
claims they don't make them as good anymore. But I want to
be able to do two-sided printing. Do you have a reliable and
fast b & w laser printer to recommend?
