It did have the duplexer available as an add-on, but I didn't buy it. It is a great printer and I have been quite happy with it. The paper input holds a full ream so less time is devoted to feeding the monster. I ran away from the current HPs because they seem to make the paper trays very flimsy, must have save a buck. Toner is a bit pricey. and When you run out you are OUT! You have to have a spare on hand -- Frederick E.
