To what do you attribute the increase in political comments?
Is there something special happening to cause it?

I have received several political comments in the last few
weeks. If it's in a tagline, I just snip it. If it's a
fundamentally political statement, I delete it without a
rejection notice since it's a clear violation of the
Charter.

Derogatory comments of the Congress or the Judiciary as a
whole and political comments I judge to be humorous often
get posted. Otherwise this newsgroup would be filled with
rantings and ravings.
