Those are personal expenses not corporate expenses. Whether> have an Individual 401K (also called Uni-K or solo-401K). > I know that 401K setup fees are qualified expenses for the > S-corp. Does this make sense? you need them or not isn't the issue, you as an individual invest your own money, the corporation doesn't invest it for you. -- David M. | I have a S-corp with myself as the sole owner/employee and I have an Individual 401K (also called Uni-K or solo-401K). I know that 401K setup fees are qualified expenses for the S-corp. (I didnt have any setup fees as I went with TDWaterhouse which is free). I was wondering if membership fees for sites such as morningstar.com (or smartmoney.com) qualify as a legitimate expense for the S-corp. My rationale is that I need the membership to help make decisions on investing the Individual-401K money. Does this make sense? Thanks in advance lzk << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
