Tax software used to cost an arm and a leg. Nowdays, it
just cost half an arm (up to the elbow that is). So by
all means check out UTS (Taxwise) and Drake. there's
been a lot of consolidation in the industry and you may be
pleasantly surprised.

For my money (and I'm about as "conservative" (not cheap)
as they come), the error checking and planning routines
are well worth the cost.

Had been using Nelco .hp forms for the past several years.
Home grown tax program in a DOS format. Nelco no longer
providing software. I would be willing to re-write my
program in Visual Basic if I could get Income Tax Forms that
could be merged with my data and then printed.
