The NH Business Profits Tax applies only to income earned in
NH. If an individual carries on a business within and
without NH, an apportionment formula is used to determine
the portion that is subject to the BPT.

Would such income tax be allowed as a credit against New
Hampshire's Business Profits Tax and/or Business Enterprise
Tax? (Or does New Hampshire not tax its businesses on
income earned in another state?)

If a 1099 based contractor lives in NH (no income tax) and
does work *at* a customer site in MA (almost an employee
type of situation) does the contractor have to pay income
tax to MA ?

Thanks,
