Do you have a tax question? If not, try posting this in> I receieved an absurd bill from AT & T to pay over $4000 for > one month. | Your question has nothing to do with taxes. Why did you post it here? If you were looking at a copy of your credit report, then you should have been given instructions for challenging incorrect data on the report. Follow those instructions. And post anything further about this to misc.consumers or some other more appropriate newsgroup. << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |

If it doesn't, contact your state's public utilities commission and ask them for help. That should get action. | I had a land line from AT & T back in 2001.In october 2001, I receieved an absurd bill from AT & T to pay over $4000 for one month. I know it was a mistake from AT & T and I called their service center to get this issues resolved. The service rep told me that somebody would call me up to get this issue resolved. I did not get any call or any bill from At & T after that. My ATT phone service was cancelled and than I moved to a new address. Today, when I was looking at my credit history I found out that AT & T transfered my account with a balance of above $4000 in april this year 2004 to a collections agency. Please tell me what to do ? What do I do to take them to the court ? I dont have anything in black n white. << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
