| Hi All, I live in California and I negotiated a used car (from Private party) for $19,000. If I mention $10,000 as "sale amount" - will there be a RED flag for DMV? (The Blue book value for this car is about $20,000) I want to pay as less sales tax as I can on this and not raise a flag. Does any one here have experiences or know about these red flags in CA DMV, can u please let me know. Thanks << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
