Sorry. The last date to contribute to a 2002 IRA was April 15, 2003.

I'm assuming here that you didn't get an extension so that the return will
still be "timely" filed, so no, it's too late.

No, as the due date including extensions for tax year 2002 has
passed.

with your extension).

We are going to file our tax return for tax year 2002, now
in July 2004. Myself and my wife have an LLC. Income from
LLC will roll into our Personal return.

We paid an estimated tax amount when we filed the extension
request in April 2002.

Can we contribute to our SEP-IRA now for tax year 2002?
This could reduce our tax return and we would get a refund.

Please advise.
