If you are talking about online or CD versions, I continue
to believe that Kleinrock has the most intuitive search
engine, at least for someone like me who isn't using it
everyday. I also think that Kleinrock's editorial analysis
has come a long way and is now generally pretty good.

In a prior lifetime I used CCH print products, and I have
always liked their editorial content. In recent times I
tried one of their online services. It was OK, but as
alluded to above, I didn't find their search engine to be
particularly friendly.

It's good as a quick and fairly thorough research resource.
There have been times though where I needed something really
obscure or I needed something more of a historical
background and source for a current position and I turned to
BNA in those instances.

I'm interested in opinions on this as well. I have used BNA
for years, but the price has increased drastically for less
content (sort of like the proverbial candy bar). I'm in the
market for a change. Had hoped there would be exhibits from
some of these companies at the Super Seminar I attended this
month so I could compare, but I guess they thought it too
expensive to come to Hawaii. Does anyone know of worthwhile
articles comparing the various vendors?

I'm currently using Kleinrock.
As a Federal service its ok.
But their state services are somewhat limited.

I've used CCH & RIA in the past.
All are ok IMO.

Another sercice you might want to consider is BNA.

Default CCH, RIA, etc.

I'm sure this has been bantered about some, but does anyone
strongly recommend CCH, RIA or Kleinrock, one over the
other, for tax research? Is it just a matter of which one we
grew up with?

I've used all and know Kleinrock is cheaper, but I'm
interesed in other professional opinions about the quality
of their annotations and commentary.
