No, the test will generate the appropriate number of
questions, without regard to each other, under a specific
time frame. I'll liken it to the Series 6 and 63, etc tests
for investment reps. And there will still be a time frame.

Does "prometrics" mean it is an adaptive test, similar to
the A+ Computer exam? For that test, your answer to a
question determines the next question you will
receive...there is no set time limit or number of
questions...you just answer until the computer decides you
either know your stuff or you don't!

Nothing is out yet. There is an RFP out for folks to bid on
being the "testers", but....

It should be a prometrics version, done at a local computer
educator's storefront, at a date you want to take it at.
But at this point, I'm not very hopeful it will occur for
2005.

I understand that next year the format will be different,
and that no scores will be carried over. Does anyone know
what the new test is expected to be like?
