That raised Social Security taxes, which then became a major
burden on the working poor.

Mr. Moderator: why is garbage like this allowed in this
newsgroup? Also, I obviously mistakenly posted that message
about golf courses in Sarasota in the wrong newsgroup. Why
did you allow it and all the responses to it?

As Mike Wing mentioned I too thought you were attending a
tax conference and I saw no harm in it. I'm sorry you
snipped most of the post to which you are referring. As
a rule, I do not knowingly allow derogatory comments
against named politicians (Congress as a whole is fair
game). But I see no reason to delete positive comments
about the past work of individuals unless it appears to
be politicing or patently false.

Default 1986 Tax reform act

While watching the procession today in our nation's Capitol
of President's Reagan's coffin from Andrews to the Capitol,
I'm reminded so much of subject and it's far reaching
implications that I just had to take this opportunity of
memorializing all that Ronald Reagan stood for.

Don't need to elaborate for it's all written in today's
periodicals much more eloquently than I can.

When they (Congress) passed the 1986 act I really think that
they "won one for the Gipper."

In memorium,
Harlan Lunsford
