If you have a physical presence in the state, you must
collect and pay over use tax on your retail sales to
customers in that state.

Local taxes are handled differently in different states.
When you register to collect use tax in each state, that
state's tax department will advise you on how to handle
local taxes. Generally, you collect tax at the rate that
applies to the locality to which the property is shipped,
regardless of whether you have a physical presence in that
locality.

Ask your state/county/municipality.

That depends on your state's sales tax laws and regulations.
A call to the state department of taxation should end your
doubts. If the sales tax is a truly local one then call the
agency involved.

If you have nexus, the laws of each individual state, as
well as every other jurisdiction imposing the tax, come
into play.

The same in-state sales tax laws apply to you as any other
business making the same sale.

Contact your state sales tax office and ask.

Default Internet sales tax

As an internet retailer, do we have to collect taxes in
state where we have nexus at the state level or at the
county/municipality level?
