So i work full-time for this company. I am not self-employed.

Regarding late notice, yes i never paid attention to my W2.
BTW i am not the only employee whose SS and medicare was not
deducted. There are more.

One interesting development - since then i have spoken to
IRS. Per IRS, I do not owe them ath. They have asked me to
get in touch with SS office. Does any one has any idea if SS
folks have penalties or interest ...?

You left one extremely important piece of information out of
this. By your company to you mean just where you worked, or
do you mean a company that you personally own?

Default I owe 17000 in last 3 year back dated taxes - help

My company has not deducted social security and medicare tax
for last 3 years. As a result I owe IRS around $ 17,000.

1. What sort of interest and penalty I will have to pay?
2. What are my options here?
