Something like an air conditioner or furniture, though, is a fixed asset, and you have to capitalize it and depreciate it. Things like software and books can be expensed if they're of small value or good for only a year (like much tax software, or almanacs). -- Chris Green << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |

The rest can be supplies expense for which you get a tax deduction. << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
