You don't say what type of business entity conducted the
business, whether proprietorship, partnership, corporation,
LLC.......

perhaps you should consult some local qualified tax help on
this matter.

Default Owner Equity

I closed down a business in 2003 and have 70k of owner
equity left on the books... is there anyway to account for
this on the taxes.. it is a loss and would like to know
where to account for it.
