I don't think that's quite correct. The rules here don't> post the same message to both groups.) allow you to crosspost the message to both groups, but neither group forbids (or even significantly discourages) posting the same message to both groups. I do wish more people would crosspost to misc.legal and us.legal; and misc.taxes, us.taxes, can.taxes, aus.taxes (if all relevant), then individually posting to each of them, though. It makes it easier to follow. << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |

See my reply to your other post. Please post your question only once. This is a moderated newsgroup. Posts and replies do not appear immediately because they have to first be reviewed by the moderator. If you need faster turnaround, try misc.taxes, which is not moderated. (But note that the rules here do not allow you to post the same message to both groups.) In your other post you said you went to an accountant. Here you are talking about H&R Block. How many sets of returns did you have prepared? Or is this question just hypothetical? << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
