No. (The excess was recovered against the coupons paid. If
she paid AMT during that period she might have been
overpaying.)

She didn't sell it, so no cap loss.

My sister in law inherited a tax free muni, valued at 28K at
time of death. She held to maturity and recvd 25K for the
bond. Is that a loss for tax purposes.
