| A case in which I was formerly involved has been appealed to the US Tax Court. The petition is to review the the reporting position I took in filing the return. As you might expect, I am flattered that my client has gone to the trouble and expense of seeking a court review of my work. This is true even though his new attorney talked him into firing me so that the attorney's accountant friend could take over. Do any of you tax experts know how to get a copy of the petition and other pleadings in the case? I am sure they are public record but I can't find any one who is supplying them over the internet or otherwise.
