| Did the other partners invest to start the website. Do you have a written partnership agreement which spells what happens if the other partners do not participate and provide services? If your circumstances are such that the partnership is ended then a final partnership return needs to be filed though there's no formal required form for dissolution of a partnership like a corporation I would include a statement of what happen to all assets. If on the other hand you now have silent partners you would continue to file which here in california could be a problem because limited partnership spells 800 dollar minnium tax on california return. You would need to check your own state. << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |

| I own a website and when i first started the site, it was with two other partners. Also, when i signed up for the EIN, it was filed as partnership. However, due to lack of participation from other partners, only I run the site. Now question is, should i fill out Form 1065? When i received the EIN, it instructs me to file form 1065. What should i do? Thanks.
