Wouldn't that make it an employment-related expense?

And then there was man a who was required by his employer
(in writing) to be clean shaven every day, to have a
manicure and a hair cut every two weeks, and to belong to a
specific athletic club. He kept a detailed expense log of
these expenses as well as his costs of laundering and dry
cleaning his business clothes. He went to a tax guy with
his expense log and wanted it as unreimbursed employee
expenses.

But that's still not deductible.

That would not be a medical expense, it would be a job
hunting expense.

Are we now saying that being born ugly is a congenital
defect? :-)
