It was indeed humor and thanks for recognizing as such.
Heck, I even grew up Democrat; everybody in the South was.
Then.

Sometimes a client will call or stop by with a document in
hand and ask if I'm a notary public. I set them straight of
course and inform them no, but what you're thinkng of is
"notorious republican."

Funny how times change.

even BEEN in that state since maybe... once.. in 1953.

While I am not averse to slurs against damnyankees, I am
normally intorerant of political slurs (unless they are
directed against the Congress or against Willie and the
Supremes). However, I smiled over the slur of "Demicrack".
So in a rare moment of fairness (not to be viewed as a
precedent), anyone with a humorous slur of the terms
Republican, Libertarian, etc. gets a ONE-TIME free shot.

Harlan,

Go ahead and make my day - BTW I am a registered Democrat
(probablly the last one in our profession) Up North here and
it gets even worse - I'm the product of a mixed marriage -
I'm Half Upper and Half Troll.

Other than someone from Michigan can anyone tell me just
what that means???
