Mike,

How come no ones mentioned going to a CPA/EA? I for example
still have my 1991 tax software up and running. Same for
92-'02. Why not? With todays large hard disks?

I can't tell you how many times I've had to go back 3-5
years to see how something was treated - basis on converted
rentals, etc.

You would need to ACTUALLY READ the license agreement to be
sure. I can't speak for TurboTax or TaxCut, but most
software licenses I've see clearly state that an end user
may NOT resell the software. Perhaps you could legally
resell an unopened, never used copy. But, once you use it...
