California provides a "paperless" extension of time to file
until October 15. If the return is filed by that date, no
late filing penalty will be imposed.

The extension of time to file is not an extension of time to
pay. The corporate level tax must be paid by March 15. If
you need to make a payment, Form 3536 is provided as a
voucher to cover the payment. You can download the form
from the FTB web site, www.ftb.ca.gov.

Default estimated state tax for S corporation

If I submit Form 7004 extension, how can I pay estimated CA
state tax for S corporation? Should I still submit 100S
before 3/15/2004?

Thank you.
